Vandersound has three studios in one:

A fully automated, all Digital Studio using a PC based, hard-disk multitack recorder running Cubase SX2 and Sony Soundforge 8 with Waves and Sony plugins, Yamaha 02r96 console which interfaces the Purpose built PC via two Lynx AES-16 professional digital cards, Yamaha SPX-990 and Ensoniq DP/4+ outboard effects, TC Electronics Voiceworks vocal processor.

An all Analogue Studio with a Tascam MSR-24s analogue multitrack(1 inch, 24 track with Dolby S), Mackie 24/8bus console, Drawmer 1960 valve preamp/compressor, Drawmer DL251 Spectral compressor, Aphex model 250 Aural Exciter type 3.

A fully decked out MIDI Studio with computer based sequencer (Cubase), MOTU Midi Timepiece A/V, Kurzweill PC88 (88 key weighted, velocity sensitive keyboard), Kurzweill K2000r synth/sampler(fully optioned), Roland SPD-11 drum machine.
Monitoring equipment includes a pair of Dynaudio BM15a near field monitors, Beyerdynamic DT-770 headphones, Direct Sound Extreme Isolation Headphones(for more accurate drum tracking), Behringer HA4700 headphone distribution amp etc.
Mics include Neumann TLM-193, Audio Technica 4030, Rode NT-2a, Rode NT-5's, AKG c1000s, AKG C5900, Shure Sm57's, AKG D-112, Beyer M-88, Sennheiser MD-441's, Sennheiser Md-421, Sennheiser E-604's, Crown PZM's.
There are two guitar preamps: Marshall JMP-1 and Mesa/Boogie V-Twin, as well as a Fender Ultra Chorus guitar amp.
We offer an intimate and inviting recording environment ( see "studio pics" ) with adjoining bathroom and kitchen/ waiting area.
The recording area has changeable room ambiance, various Gobo's and guitar and bass amp floor isolators.
